P5AT Denso Thermostat

The P5AT's commonly suffer from failing thermostats.

The main symptom when they are failing is the engine never reaching operating temperature or only being able to under heavy load. 

They usually get stuck slightly open, circulating coolant through the radiator when they should be shut until a preset temperature, essentially cooling an already cold engine.

These Genuine Denso units are top quality standard replacements, with an opening temperature of 88c. 

Thermostat comes as pictured including seal.

please note when fitting that the jiggle pin needs to be aligned with the slot in the thermostat housing, otherwise thermostat will not seat correctly and leak, or fracture the plastic housing it seats in.
