FAQ

I'm not chasing all-out power, is a tune still worth it?
In short, on most models yes! There's still a safe and sizeable gain to be had in torque output and power without pushing the engine, turbo or injectors past their efficiency range, most manufacturers leave a fair amount of power output on the table when it comes to factory calibrations.

Is there anything I should do before I bring the vehicle in for a tune?
Generally, we will only tune a vehicle that is in good mechanical condition. This includes oil/filters being within their service life interval and no pre-existing issues such as check engine lights or running issues before hand. We CANNOT tune around problems that the vehicle has - a common request is to turn off a faulty sensor, such as a fan fault or an exhaust temperature fault; we can only achieve a good result with everything working as it should be. On common rail vehicles, injectors being within their service life (140k-260k, depending on specific vehicle) is another big one that gets missed. There is performance and economy to be had simply from keeping your vehicle in the best condition you can!
